Since privacy rules took effect in Europe, most registries hide personal data from public output. Registrars still hold the real contacts and disclose them to courts or to trademark holders through a formal request.

clientTransferProhibited means the owner locked the name against transfers, which is a good sign rather than a problem. pendingDelete and redemptionPeriod mean the name expired and is on its way out of the zone.

Some country registries do not publish RDAP data at all. In that case we fall back to the DNS zone, which tells us the name is in use but not who registered it.

The expiry date is the starting point, not the answer. After it the name goes through a grace period and then redemption, so it usually becomes available around seventy five days later, and often gets renewed instead.
