What we do
Apply accepts a request for a domain, checks availability with the registry, collects the data the extension requires and creates the registration in your name. After that we keep the record accurate, renew it on your instruction and give you control over its DNS.
Who owns the domain
You are the registrant. Apply is only the party that maintains the record. You may move the name to another provider at any time once the registry lock period has passed, and we do not charge for leaving or delay an authorisation code.
Registry rules always win. Where these terms and the policy of an extension disagree, the registry decides. That includes eligibility, lock periods, restore fees and the fate of an expired name.
Prices and payment
- A domain becomes yours after the invoice is paid, not when the request is sent.
- The first year price and the renewal price are stated separately on every extension page.
- Registries adjust wholesale prices periodically. A term already paid for is never repriced, and we give notice before a renewal at a new rate.
- Some names are marked premium by the registry and priced individually. We quote that price before anything is charged.
Renewal and expiry
Renewal is on request rather than automatic, so no card is charged without your instruction. We send reminders at sixty, thirty and seven days before expiry.

Transfers
Incoming transfers include a year of renewal added to the remaining term. A transfer cannot start within sixty days of registration or of a change of registrant, a restriction imposed by ICANN. Outgoing transfers are never blocked or delayed on our side.
Accurate data
Registries require registrant details to be correct and reachable. If a verification email is ignored, the registry may suspend the domain until the data is confirmed. Keeping your contacts current is therefore your responsibility as well as ours.
Abuse
Reports about a domain we sponsor go to abuse@apply.domains. Where a court, a registry or a dispute resolution decision requires it, a domain may be suspended or transferred away from the registrant.
Liability
We do not guarantee that a specific name will be available at the moment of payment, because registration is first come first served and the interval between a check and an order is enough for someone else to take it. Where a registration fails for that reason, the payment is refunded in full.
